GMX101 Solar Radiation Sensor

GMX101 is one of the compact weather stations in the MaxiMet series, featuring an integrated Hukseflux net solar radiation sensor for measuring solar radiation and other computational parameters. The high-precision solar radiation sensor is protected by a glass cover and can monitor short and long wave solar radiation up to 1600 watts per square meter (W/m ²) in the spectral range of 300-3000nm.

Compared with other solar radiation and light sensors, GMX101 has more advantages. GMX101 has additional calculated parameters, including sunshine hours, dusk, position of the sun, sunrise, sunset, and noon of the sun. These calculation parameters need to be configured with GPS data in MetSet software for accurate calculations. The sensor also includes a built-in digital inclinometer with real-time output function, which helps with installation, maintenance, and improving data quality.

GMX101 is designed for agricultural meteorology and solar photovoltaic panel performance monitoring applications, in compliance with ISO 9060 Level 2 and World Meteorological Organization (WMO) guidelines. This sensor can be easily integrated into remote weather stations, weather buoys, or fixed stations, and can be used as an independent solar radiation sensor or as part of a large environmental monitoring system.
